Autism Home Support Services Opens Therapy Center In Chicago
AHSS opens a new Autism Therapy Center in Chicago, addressing the increasing demand for new treatment options for local children.

From Autism Home Support Services: Autism Home Support Services (AHSS), an Invo Company, announced that it has opened a new autism therapy in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Located at 2762 North Lincoln Avenue, the AHSS’ Chicago Autism Center will offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children age 18 months and older who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Center will add speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy services over time.
The new Lakeview Autism Center is AHSS’ third center in metro Chicago, joining Northbrook and Arlington Heights. AHSS also provides comprehensive in-home ABA therapy throughout Chicagoland, and will be opening centers in Springfield and Rockford.
The Lakeview Center will help address the growing need for high-quality autism therapy in Chicago. According to the Centers for Disease Control, approximately one in every 59 children across the U.S. is diagnosed with autism, a 15% increase from two years ago.

AHSS’ Lakeview Autism Center provides one-on-one, small group and social skills therapy in a fun, distraction-free, convenient environment with customized plans to help each child reach his or her full potential. The Center will also offer early learners groups to teach behaviors children need to succeed in school, and will host guest speakers and informational sessions for parents.
ABA is an evidence-based therapy that has been proven effective in helping children with autism improve communication and social skills, and reduce challenging behaviors. Covered by most insurance plans, ABA has been endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Autism Society of America and many others.
