Bank Robbed Inside Broadway Jewel
The female suspect is also connected to two other similar robberies, including one in the same location in May.
A bank robber stole $500 from the TCF bank branch inside of a Jewel-Osco at 3531 N. Broadway late Wednesday afternoon, according to the blog Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown (CWB). The suspect gave a note to the teller demanding the money. No weapon was displayed.
Police have described the woman as an African-American female around 40 years old, according to CWB. She's approximately 5'6 tall and 150 lbs and was last seen wearing black sunglasses, a black parka and a black knit cab.
The FBI said they believe the same woman robbed the Boystown Jewel-Osco in May, and it may also be the same suspect who robbed a TCF bank inside an Edgewater Jewel-Osco store in April, an article by CWB states.
