Cheesie's Opens in Wicker Park on New Year's Eve

CHICAGO, IL - What better day to celebrate the opening of a place known for the late-night munchies.

Cheesie’s Pub & Grub’s Wicker Park location will open for the first time on New Year’s Eve, a day we all celebrate by staying up late.

Having just received his liquor license, owner Chris Johnston made the announcement via the business’ Facebook page on Wednesday. The new spot, at 1365 N. Milwaukee Ave., will be the largest of three Cheesie’s locations, the other two being in Lakeview and Evanston.

Cheesie’s, known for its classic grilled cheese sandwiches and craft beers, will be open from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. Their normal hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
