Community Day at the New Walgreens: The new flagship Walgreen's — at Broadway and Clark — will host a Community Day Celebration on Tues. at 9 a.m. Attendees can meet the local leadership team and receive a tour of the state-of-the-art store. (See some photos of the new store here.)
Facade Improvement Program Now Open: The Lakeview SSA 27 is trying to bring more activity to Lake View. The program allows businesses to apply for rebates and other benefits if they're beautifying or improving their businesses. More information is available here.
DryHop Hosting "Whiskey and Art" Event: Love great whiskey? Love local art? Then DryHop Brewers, 3155 N. Broadway, has the perfect event for you. Attendees can stop by the brewery on Tuesday to sample some whiskeys from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, and see art from local illustrator and printmaker Andrew R. Wright.
