Plans are in place for a hostel-style hotel to open at 3469-75 N. Clark St. that will offer 53 private and shared rooms in addition to retail shops on the first floor, DNAinfo Chicago reports.

Holiday Jones, which already operates a hostel in Wicker Park, will need to have a zoning change approved in order to split two phases of the project. In Wicker Park, the hostel offers private rooms with communal bathrooms starting at $87 a night, and shared rooms with beds as low as $26 a night. According to DNAinfo, the Wicker Park location has attracted “lots of Canadians,” in addition to European travelers.
