Cubs' 'Rally Rat' Earns Cheers Despite Loss To Pirates
Despite a dismal showing against Pittsburg on Tuesday, fans found something to cheer about — and it was caught on video.

CHICAGO, IL — It was a tough game for the Chicago Cubs Tuesday as they give up a 6-0 loss to the Pirates. But despite the shutout and the gloomy weather, fans found something to cheer about at Wrigley.
Dubbed "Rally Rat," a determined rodent was cheered on by Cubs fans as it tried — and failed — several times to jump from the railing to the outfield wall. But with fans on his (or her) side, chanting "Jump! Jump!" and "You can do it," Rally Rat was eventually victorious.
The rodent's feat was captured on video by freelance Chicago photographer Will Byington.

"When the #WrigleyRallyRat gets the biggest cheer of the night? I think it was rigged by the piRATes," Byington wrote on social media, adding, "It’s been a rough game!"
