Cubs' Willson Contreras Surprises Franklin Park Student
The catcher visited a west suburban school for students with special needs.

CHICAGO — The Cubs are spreading the love this week with yet another kind community gesture in Chicagoland. Star catcher Willson Contreras visited a school in west suburban Franklin Park Thursday to surprise a boy with special needs.
Daniel Rodriguez, 11, had no idea that Contreras was coming to visit him. The young student had a huge grin on his face when the catcher stopped by Enger School, which serves students with special needs.
The pair became friends when Contreras visited the boy at the Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge. The hospital named Contreras their MVP of the Year.
