DryHop 1 of Chicago's Hottest New Bars, Zagat Reports
The Lake View favorite isn't only catching the eye of hungry and thirsty Chicagoans, but also the experts at Zagat. Read what they have to say about the local brewery.
With hungry diners practically creating a line out the door, it’s clear foodies in Lake View and Chicago are in love with DryHop Brewers, and now it seems the experts at Zagat are, too.
The publication rounded up the 10 hottest Chicago bar openings of 2013 (so far), and DryHop was the only Lake View space to make the cut. Sitting at 3155 N. Broadway, the brewery and restaurant opened in June.
“Lakeview’s only craft brewery is owned by beer expert and 30 Under 30 honoree Greg Shuff,” Zagat writes. “Brewer Brant Dubovick specializes in a wide range of beers from American traditional to hoppy, Belgian to experimental. But what makes the venture truly unique is the food. The menu, designed by executive chef Pete Repak, changes regularly to complement the beers and seasonal ingredients.”
