DryHop Teams Up With Kuma's

DryHop Brewers is teaming up with Kuma's Corner/Kuma's Too and the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild for a new collaboration called Metal Beers and Burgers. 

Over the next three months, DryHop will be brewing three different beers named after songs from the metal bands Red Fang, Corrections House and Russian Circles. Kuma's will then create three burgers named after the bands. 

The collaboration kicks off on Feb. 5 with the release of Reverse Thunder, named after Red Fang. The beer is an 8.0% Imperial Red. Kuma's will release the Red Fang II to go along with the beer — it's a burger made with jalapeño beer cheese, beer battered onion rings and homemade BBQ sauce. 

The beer will be available at Kuma's Corner and Kuma's Too beginning on Feb. 6. 

The second collaboration will come out on March 5, and the final collaboration will come out on April 2. 

DryHop Brewers is located at 3155 N. Broadway. Kuma's Too is located at 666 W. Diversey Pkwy, and Kuma's Corner is located at 2900 W. Belmont Ave.
