Feigenholtz Hosting Clinic to Help Residents Save on Phone Bills
The state representative covering Lake View and Lincoln Park will go through the hidden costs and fees sometimes involved in phone bills.

State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) is hosting a phone bill analysis clinic with the Citizens Utility Board on Tuesday, May 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Merlo Library located at 644 West Belmont Ave. in Lake View.
“Phone bills can be very hard to understand and hidden costs may be imbedded into service plan agreements,” said Feigenholtz. “Far too often, consumers are misled into buying into promotions and deals that ultimately cost them more in the long run. Residents can use this clinic to find out how to cut out these unnecessary charges and other ways to reduce the amount they spend on phone service.”
Attendees should bring their most recent landline or cell phone bill to the event, which is free and open to the public. A specialist from CUB will conduct one-on-one phone bill analyses to help residents cut unnecessary features from their phone service and lower their monthly bill.
