Halsted Flats Show Sneak Peek Into New Apartments (PHOTO)
The new Lake View development is sharing photo renderings of what the inside of the high-end apartments will look like.
With the opening date for Boystown's new Halsted Flats inching nearer, developers behind the project are sharing a sneak peek of what the interior may look like.
The new 15-story residential and retail complex under construction at 3740 N. Halsted St. posted on its Facebook page a new rendering of an apartment's interior.
And Halsted Flats has been on the fast track since crew initially broke ground on the project on Nov. 1. In April developers came forward saying they were roughly seven months ahead of schedule and planned to open in March of 2014.
The new building by JDL Development Corp. will feature nearly 11,000-square-feet of retail space, 269 apartments and 276 parking spaces. Combined with a third-floor rooftop with a landscaped park, dog run, outdoor pool, fire-pit and hot tub, the massive glass structure is welcomed by 46th Ward officials.
