Hutch American Bistro Opens: Check Out the Menu
The new eatery tranformed the former Mediterranean restaurant into a casual American eatery.
Lake View favorite Socca may have closed, but new restaurant Hutch American Bistro is already open and ready to serve up new dishes to Chicago.
New owner Marc Wuenschel says he purchased the business at 3301 N. Clark St. when Socca's owners decided they wanted out. That’s when Hutch American Bistro was born.
“It’s going to be American comfort food,” Wuenschel said. “…I’m taking the word Hutch because it’s something found in every American home.”

Socca's menu, first posted by Eater Chicago, has "Hutch Favorites" like prime steak, drunken chicken and scallops.
