Is Your Favorite Hangout a "Bad Decision Bar"?
Four Lake View bars have been ranked among Chicago's "Bad Decision Bars" by Thrillist.
The good people at Thrillist ranked the 13 "Bad Decision Bars" in Chicago — and four of the bars are in Lake View. The article descries a Bad Decision Bar as "where promises of 'just one shot of whiskey' turn into 'beer bongs of Malort'.
"You may have noticed that a disproportionate amount of bad decisions are made in the general vicinity of Lakeview," the article reads. "It's not a coincidence.
Making the cut, for better or for worse, are Big City Tap, Murphy's Bleachers ("the bar is saturated with salty fans, bad karaoke and regret"), Tai's Til 4 ("You will be pumped into by a bro in a backwards cap, and he will try to fight you") and Trace.
