Japanese BBQ Restaurant Opens In Lake View

Gyu-Kaku has taken over this formerly-vacant spot on North Broadway.

CHICAGO, IL — The popular Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ chain has opened its third location in Chicago. The restaurant has opened at 2813 North Broadway in Lake View. The chain is known for its flaming round grill in the middle of its tables, where customers can cook their own premium cuts of meat. The grill also has a down-draft system that sucks smoke into the bottom of the table and away from customers.

The new location offers a range of meats to grill, including Harami Skirt Steak in a miso marinade and Angus Kalbi Short Rib in a tare sweet soy marinade.

Gyu-Kaku also offers rice and noodle dishes, sashimi, edamame, dumplings, miso soup and other Japanese favorites.
