Jonathon Brandmeier's River North Mansion Re-Listed At $4.9M

Chicago radio show host drops $1 million off price of elegant home.

Chicago radio host Jonathon Brandmeier’s River North mansion is back on the market again, this time at a reduced price after being taken off the market for 20 months.

Brandmeier’s 11,000-square-foot mansion was first listed in 2011 at $5.9 million before taking it off the market in 2013. Now the 5-bedroom, 10-bath home has been re-listed for $4.9 million, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Built in 2007, the house includes six levels with an elevator, multiple decks, six fireplaces, state-of-the-art home movie theater, custom bar, gourmet kitchen/great room, a master suite spread across an entire floor, huge skylights and windows and a 3-car garage. The home is also equipped with audio, video and security components.

Brandmeier and his wife, Lisa Nicelli, say they have put $8 million in total into the mansion, the Tribune said.

Brandmeier, 58, began hosting a nationally syndicated talk show that airs 9 to 11 a.m. weekdays on WLS-AM 890.

According to the Tribune, he paid $4.7 million for the mansion in late 2007.

The home is being listed on Baird & Warner through agent Laura Rubin.
