Lake View Starbucks Switching From AT&T to Google Wi-Fi
The coffee company is promising speeds 10 times higher by changing service providers.

Coffee shop junkies tired of slow internet at Starbucks will see a change of pace in August. Starbucks announced Wednesday it would be switching its wireless provider from AT&T to Google.
The company promises speeds up to 10 times faster with the new network. Installation will take approximately 18 months for the company's 7,000 U.S. stores.
In Lake View, there are 10 Starbucks locations.

"The free Internet connection at Starbucks has become an important part of many communities over the years, such as in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, or for students without Internet at home who do their homework at Starbucks."
When the installation is complete, customers will see a "Google Starbucks" wi-fi network in their browsers.
