Largest Vegetarian Chain In Country To Open In Lakeview
Veggie Grill will open its first Chicago eatery this Thursday.

CHICAGO, IL — The largest vegetarian restaurant chain in the United States is opening its first Chicago location in the city's Lakeview neighborhood. Veggie Grill is set to open its doors this Thursday at 614 W. Diversey Parkway. For several years, vegetarians and vegans have been posting open pleas on social media for Veggie Grill to open its first Chicago location.
"...we're so excited to be part of the city that was named the "2017 Restaurant City of the Year" by Bon Appetit," the restaurant chain posted on its website. "So come join our celebration of the veggie, the fruit, the grain, and the nut with dishes like our juicy VG Beyond Burger, vibrant Quinoa Power Salad, or craveable Tempura Green Beans!"
The chain is also planning to open a location in March in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood at 204 N. Wells Street.
