Lathrop Homes Public Meeting
A formal presentation of the proposed master plan for the 32-acre Lathrop Homes redevelopment is on Tuesday, starting at 6:30 p.m. Those interested in hearing the latest should head to New Life Community Church at 2958 N. Damen Ave., or just read about the meeting shortly after on Patch.

Wrigleyville Summerfest
The 10th annual Wrigleyville Summerfest is back this weekend in Lake View to help benefit the Lakeview Pantry. Slated for Aug. 3-4, the yearly event draws more than 20,000 residents to the corner of Roscoe Street and Seminary Avenue every year.
Lollapalooza
Also this weekend: Chicago's iconic Lollapalooza. The event kicks off Friday, Aug. 2, in Grant Park, where more than 130 artists will play on one of eight stages between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
