Live Game Of Thrones Screening To Be Held At Music Box Theater
Winter is coming...WBEZ's Nerdette podcast team will be hosting a live GOT screening in Lake View for superfans.

CHICAGO — HBO's long-anticipated Season 8 premiere of Game of Thrones has millions of fans impatiently counting down the days until they can once again join the world of Westeros and find out whether their favorite characters will prevail against the White Walkers. WBEZ’s Nerdette Recaps Game of Thrones podcast will host a live screening and discussion of the premiere at the historic Music Box Theater. About 700 superfans are expected to attend the screening.
The event gives fans a chance to watch the much-anticipated premiere on the big screen with fellow Game of Thrones enthusiasts and the hosts of WBEZ’s Nerdette Recaps Game of Thrones: Greta Johnsen, Tricia Bobeda, and Peter Sagal of NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!
Before the screening starts, attendees will also be able to play games and win GOT swag.

General registration for this special screening has already reached capacity, but fans can enter to win a pair of tickets here.
Costumes are encouraged, as long as they do not impede the view and comfort of fellow movie-theater goers. Recording is strictly prohibited during the screening.
