Man Charged With Stealing Packages In Lake View
Officers said they found 65-year-old man rummaging through packages and stealing items near Broadway and Addison, according to a report.

CHICAGO — A man is accused of stealing packages from doorsteps in Lake View. A person called police after noticing the man rummaging through packages and taking items from them, the Sun-Times reported.
Officers said they found Dennis Gordman, 29, going through packages in a parking lot in the 3400 block of Broadway, according to the report.
The packages were addressed to homes in the 900 block of Cornelia in Wrigleyville and the 600 block of Roscoe in Lake View East, the Sun-Times reported.

Gordman has a lengthy criminal history of theft and burglary, according to police reports. He is being held on $2,500 bail.
Earlier this month, another man was charged with stealing packages from North Side homes after a GPS tracking device was placed by police in a bait package.
