Man Charged With Stealing Phones from Two Lake View Bars
Alejandro Galeana is being charged with four counts of felony theft for being in possession of four stolen smart phones.

A man is in custody after he turned over four stolen smart phones to police and told them to call his house and "get the rest" of a cab fare he was unable to fully pay, according to an article by the Chicago Tribune. Alejandro Galeana, 27, of Chicago was driven to the 19th District Police Department by a cab driver after Galeana refused to pay a $23.50 fare. He's now being charged with four counts of felony theft for four stolen cell phones that he was found in possession of.
Galeana stole the phones from Red Ivy Chicago Sports Bar (3519 N. Clark St.) and Big City Tap (1010 W. Belmonst Ave.), the article by the Chicago Tribune states. He's being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
