Man Found Stabbed to Death on Damen Doorstep, Police Say

A 24-year-old man was found stabbed to death on his front porch Tuesday morning in North Center, police told the ABC 7.

Authorities say the man’s mother found him on the doorstep in the 4200 block of North Damen Avenue, just two blocks south of Montrose Avenue. He was found at about 4:10 a.m., according to CBS Chicago.

The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Lake View with stab wounds on the left side of his abdomen, ABC writes. He died two-and-a-half hours later, but the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office has yet to release his name.

No one is in custody, and police continue to investigate.
