Neighbors Want 'Live on Lincoln' Street Fest Nixed From Lakeview Lineup
Lake View residents are speaking out against a new music festival that they say ruined part of their Fourth of July holiday weekends.

CHICAGO - Lake View residents are speaking out against a new music festival that they say ruined part of their Fourth of July holiday weekends.
This year was the debut of Live on Lincoln, a July 1-2 event that featured vendors and indie rock, jam and funk musicians in the 3200 block of North Lincoln Avenue. But many residents are voicing their serious discontent with the West Lakeview Neighbors' replacement for what was formerly Taste of Lincoln, DNAinfo Chicago reports.
One local told reporters that the fest attendees, "assault residents, urinate on our buildings, leave their trash," and that residents were "accosted by death metal for an afternoon that goes all the way until 10 p.m."
