New Advocate Health Care Outpatient Center In Lakeview Now Open

This one-stop-shop provides comprehensive services for those in the community.

Downers Grove, Ill. – Advocate Health Care is celebrating the opening of the new Advocate Outpatient Center in Lakeview at the corner of Barry and Clark. Dozens of physicians and advanced practice clinicians in internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics, gynecology, midwifery, neurology and endocrinology are now seeing patients in the new space.

The center is a partnership between nearby Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Advocate Medical Group to serve the growing health care needs of Lakeview and neighboring communities. Its innovative, patient-centric design includes a hotel-like lobby and many consumer conveniences to enhance the patient experience.

“We are proud to increase access to quality health care in our community,” said Susan Nordstrom Lopez, president of Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. “The new outpatient center allows patients to get the care they need in one convenient location. With the combination of these comprehensive outpatient services and all that Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center has to offer, we continue to be a trusted partner in all stages of health care.”

An area Advocate Medical Group practice relocated to the new facility with room to expand as demand for primary care continues to increase. Expert cardiologists also have a large presence in the outpatient center, complemented by the convenient lab and imaging services available on site. Immediate care staffed by advanced practice clinicians is planned to open in September.
