Pearl Jam, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson Hitting Wrigley this Weekend

Huge names in music are ready to rock the house in Lake View this weekend, and that means street closures and parking restrictions to make way for the crowds.

Pearl Jam will kick off at Wrigley Field on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Jason Aldean will hit the stage with Kelly Clarkson on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Both performances will conclude around 11 p.m.

Before and after the concert, police may close Addison Street between Racine Avenue and Halsted Street. That’s combined with “hospitality teams,” hired by the Chicago Cubs, patrolling the neighborhood from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. following the concerts. 

Parking Restrictions

• Clark Street, both sides (Cornelia to Addison) 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
• Clark Street, east side (Waveland to Irving Park) 5 p.m. to midnight
• Clark Street, west side (Patterson to Addison) 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
• Addison, south side (Clark to Sheffield) 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
• Addison, both sides (Sheffield to Wilton) 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Street Closures

• Sheffield Avenue, full street (Addison to Waveland) July 15-22
• Waveland Avenue, north side (Sheffield to Clark) July 15-22
• Waveland Avenue, south side sidewalk (Sheffield to Clark) Friday and Saturday
• Waveland Avenue, full street (Sheffield to Clark) Friday and Saturday
• Blue Lot Parking, noon on Wednesday to noon at Tuesday

Stage and ballpark setup will take place Monday through Thursday, and lights at Wrigley Field may be on throughout the week. Sound and lighting checks will take place on Thursday, followed by the performances and deconstruction of the stage through Monday.
