People Punched Through L Train Windows In Lake View, Near North
Red Line riders were hit on the Sheridan and Grand stations, police said.
CHICAGO — Police have released images of suspects in connection with attacks in Red Line stations last week on the city's North Side. Police said men punched people on two station platforms.
The men were seen opening the side windows of L trains and hitting people as the train left the stations, police said in a community alert.
The first attack occurred at about 4:45 p.m. Feb 21 at the Grand Avenue station, and the second at about 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Sheridan station, police said.
