This is the second person to be recovered from Belmont Harbor in the last month, with Ramon Benavidez, 32, drowning in the lake near the same spot on June 6. Divers spent 20 minutes looking for Benavidez before finding him in the harbor, and he was later pronounced dead after an emergency transfer to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Estrada said police continue to investigate the cause of Monday morning’s death.
