Recycle Electronics Safely at Blaine School Saturday
The free recycling event wants any unused electronics with a plug to keep Lake View green.
Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) and Blaine Elementary School are teaming up this weekend to help keep Lake View clean and green with a electronics recycling event.
Volunteers will be collecting computers, televisions and any other household electronics Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Blaine, located at 1420 W. Grace St.
Sitting on the corner of Southport Avenue, the school hopes to snag old electronics and recycle them properly for neighbors. The event is free and open to the public. Anyone with questions can call Norine at Ald. Tunney’s office at 312-744-3073.
