Rosecrance Lakeview Open for Recovering Addicts
Recovering drug and alcohol addicts will live in a building near Ashland and Waveland.

CHICAGO, IL - A sober living residence is now in full swing in the city’s Lake View neighborhood.
Rosecrance Lakeview, 3701 N. Ashland is open to young adults who are in recovery for alcohol and drug addictions, according to the Chicago Tribune.
While controversial for some neighborhood residents who saw this as a safety issue, the city paved the way for the residence to open.

A counseling center takes up the main floor, while the above three floors will be living units for people age 18-29 who are not currently using drugs or alcohol. They will pay $3,000 a month for their unit and stay in the furnished apartments anywhere from 3-18 months.
