The North Side's oldest Memorial Day Parade has honored veterans for decades.

CHICAGO, IL — The Rosehill Cemetery Parade has been a tradition in Chicago for more than fifty years, and it's the largest Memorial Day parade on the North Side. Helmed by The American Legion Tattler Post, the parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Monday at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Avenue.
There will be a band, and military veterans are invited to march in the parade. Veterans and community members are encouraged to assemble near the corner of Thorndale and Clark between 9 - 9:30am on Monday.
After the parade, a short memorial and bell-ringing will be held, as well as a 21-gun salute.
