Snowboarding the Streets of New York City

If your streets are covered in snow, what do you do? Stay inside, hunkered down by the fire with a mug of hot cocoa? Break out the parcheesi board? If you’re Casey Neistat, you grab a snowboard and a video camera and call some crazy buddies.

Neistat, a filmmaker, posted a video to Facebook and YouTube of his snowboarding adventure behind a Jeep speeding through New York City on Sunday, Jan. 24, after the record-setting blizzard blew through the East Coast. By the end of the day, his snowboarding video was viewed more than 16 million times. He’s been making videos like this since 2010.
