The Last SpeakeasyCelebrate the 80th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition with the Chicago History Museum this Wed. evening. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and jazz band, prohibition-era storytelling and drinks will be included. Wed. Dec. 4, 6:30-10:00 p.m., Chicago History Museum, $45/$35 for members. 

Star of The Room Presents BookGreg Sestero, the star of "bad movie" cult favorite The Room will be telling his side of the story on Tues., as he reads from his new book, The Disaster Artist. The book is the true account of how the "Citizen Kane of bad movies was made. Tues. Dec. 3. 7 p.m. Music Box Theatre. $20 for the event, $45 for the event and book. 
Winter FUNderlandDo you love the holidays or despise the whole season? No matter where you stand, you'll enjoy this holiday iO show, featuring improv, sketch, songs, interactive games and magic. Thurs. Dec. 5, 10:30 p.m., iO Theatre, $5/Free for iO students.

Getting the Job SeminarLooking for a new job? Let the Central Lakeview Merchants Association help you out. This free event will feature guest speaker Adam Robinson of Hireology.
