The Bentley Tavern Finally Open, Brunch and Dinner Menus Revealed
The hotly anticipated restaurant was delayed almost a month because of permitting issues, but the space is now open. Check out the menu here.

After preparing for an opening in early July, The Bentley Tavern in Lake View is finally open following an unexpected city permitting delay.
The new French brasserie-inspired restaurant sits on Lake View and Lincoln Park’s border at 2834 N. Southport Ave. It officially opened on Aug. 30, serving up its dinner menu for the first time.
But according to a spokesperson with the restaurant, dinner won't be the only thing served at The Bently Tavern for long.
"In addition to dinner service beginning at 5 p.m. every night, Chef Ian Flowers has just announced the charming neighborhood restaurant will also begin brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. starting September 14th," the restaurant announced in a statement.

Owner Brian Dohmen and executive chef Ian Flowers say they’re ready to bring the casual yet upscale atmosphere to the 1,000-square-foot North Side space. The Bentley Tavern will seat 100 people, with 50 of those seats on the two tree-lined outdoor patios.
Appetizers like angelotti confit duck with crisp shallots and shiitake jus range from $10-$14. Soups and salads are between $7-$12, while “snacks” like a spice-rubbed spare rib with napa slaw range between $8-$10.
There are also seasonally revolving specialty cocktails, a Chicago-centric beer program, an extensive wine selection and a coffee program, complete with a full barista station.
The Bentley Tavern is open Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m.-midnight and Friday from 5 p.m.-2 a.m. The restaurant will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.-midnight.
