This Week's Pets: Beautiful Biscuit and a Pup from Oklahoma

GIGI

Meet Gigi, an adorable 7-month old Hound mix. From the quiet fields of Oklahoma to the hustle and bustle of Chicago, Gigi has traveled a long way to get to PAWS Chicago and is still on the journey to find a forever family of her own. This spirited pup loves people, so much so that she becomes anxious when left alone. She is looking for a home in which she would not be by herself for long periods of time until she settles in and becomes comfortable. Gigi gets along well with other dogs and loves to play.  Gigi has a fun amount of puppy energy to burn and would thrive in an active home where she can get lots of exercise. She would benefit from an obedience class to help her learn the basics while having fun at the same time.

BISCUIT

Biscuit is a beautiful tortoiseshell kitty.  This 2-year-old is so sweet, it's hard to believe that she survived alone on the streets until she was taken to Chicago Animal Control and rescued by PAWS.  In addition to her loving personality, this sweetheart also has some spunk.  Biscuit enjoys being petted and talked to, and will rub up against your legs to greet you when you enter her room.  She prefers a quiet atmosphere, but loves to play!  She can often be found batting and chasing her favorite toys.
