Three Closed Lake View Businesses Make Most Missed List
Thrillist named the ten closed businesses that they miss the most — and Nick's Uptown and Indie Burger made the cut.
2013 has been a big year for businesses around Lake View. Our friends at Thrillist rounded up the top ten businesses that closed in 2013 that they'll miss the most — and two former Lake View hotspots made the list.
Nick's Uptown — which was previously named one of the city's best "Bad Decision Bars" — and Indie Burger made the cut.
"[We'll miss] putting your tasty organic burgers loaded with beef, bacon, mushrooms and jalapenos inside us," Thrillist said about Indie Burger.
The list also included Great Lake in Andersonville, Bel 50 in River North and Cans Bar and Canteen in Bucktown.
Nick's Uptown shut down in September, while Indie Burger closed when its owners were evicted from their building in October.
