Two Dead After Jumping Into Chicago River to Save Phone

A Minnesota man is dead and a missing woman is presumed dead after falling into the Chicago River early on Monday morning.

One man is dead and one missing woman is presumed dead and a third man is in stable condition after they fell into the Chicago River early Monday morning, according to an article by the Huffington Post

Ken Hoang, 26, of St. Paul Minnesota was taking a photo of the river with his cellphone when he dropped it onto the ice, his brother told the Chicago Tribune. He stepped down to retrieve the phone, but fell in the water while doing so. The 21-year-old woman and the 23-year-old man that he was with stepped onto the ice to try to help him, but they fell in as well. 

The woman was still missing after Monday night and is presumed dead, the Tribune states.
