West Lakeview To Host First Ever Restaurant Week

CHICAGO — West Lakeview businesses are hosting an inaugural restaurant week at the end of March. Chicagoans are invited to venture out and sample the neighborhood’s eclectic flavors and specialties.

Hosted by the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, the event will include specials and discounts at more than a dozen local businesses.

The West Lakeview Restaurant Week will be held from March 22 to 28.

Some highlights will include:

• Corridor Brewery’s $30 prix fixe menu featuring gulf shrimp ceviche and Al Pastor pizza, along with two brewers choice pints.
• Southport Grocery & Café’s customers can pick two breakfast tastings for $10, which feature bread pudding pancakes, gluten free cupcake pancakes, brisket and gravy and chorizo and eggs.
• Grassroots $30 prix fixe menu that includes a soup or salad, choice of salmon, steak frites or pork tenderloin and dessert. The $40 prix fixe option adds a glass of wine to the meal.
