23-Year-Old Ryland Kollar Loses Leukemia Battle
The former Lake Zurich resident passed away Tuesday at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

Visitation for Ryland Andrew Kollar, formerly of Lake Zurich, will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 3 to 9 p.m. with an Order of the Arrow, Broken Arrow Ceremony, at 7 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home.
Ryland was born on September 24, 1989 in Park Ridge, the son of Robert A. Kollar and Laura L. Santucci, and passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, following an 11 year courageous battle with Leukemia.

Ryland enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, fishing, and hiking, also a member of Boy Scout Troop #964 of Lake Zurich and Lakota Lodge Order of the Arrow.
Loving son of Laura (Fiance John Schober) Santucci and Robert A. (Adriana) Kollar; dear brother of Alec Kollar, and Steven Salle; beloved grandson of Toni Henkel and Andrew (Late Wilma) Kollar; fond step brother of Erin, Johnny and Ryan Schober and Angelica Maria Beck.
