Paulus Park Beach/sprayground is open for summer and Lake Zurich residents are enjoying a village treasure.
One little boy was fascinated by the splash pad as his mom sat on a bench nearby watching him.
Nearby, one woman said the water temperature was nice. She stood in the lake holding a stick to balance herself. As she looked out at the lake she recalled visiting as a child with her dad, who passed away 15 years ago.
Families can create memories at Paulus Beach and the Spraypark this summer. The beach is opened from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Aug. 12 then on weekends through Sept. 3. The daily admission fee is $4 for children age 4 to 17, $8 for adults 18 and older. Children age 3 and younger are free.
