Business Seeks to Relocate Operations to LZ

A Mundelein company, NorthStar Pickle Co., wants to move to Lake Zurich into the old Leonardi’s Pizza Manufacturing building.

Lake Zurich’s Plan Commission will hear NorthStar Pickle Co.’s application for a special use permit at its meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 16 at village hall, 70 E. Main St. The meeting will be live streamed on the village website.

NorthStar Pickle Co. has a letter of intent to purchase the building at 968 Donata Court and wants a special use permit to operate.

The company will use the building, which was built in 2008, to refrigerate overnight pickles, tomatoes and sauces. NorthStar Pickle also manufactures sauces and salad dressing. 

Village staff has reviewed the application and recommends the Plan Commission approve the request.
