Craft Beer Fest Tickets Now On Sale

The Lake Zurich beer festival will take place May 10 and 11.

LAKE ZURICH, IL - From Village of Lake Zurich: Discounted tickets are now available on Eventbrite for Lake Zurich’s 5th annual Craft Beer Festival on Friday and Saturday, May 10th – 11th , 2019 at picturesque Paulus Park (200 South Rand Road). Come join the Lake Zurich community to celebrate the change of seasons with unique beer and those who brew it.

The fest's hours for beer tastings and local live music entertainment are to be held on Friday and Saturday evening from 5:00 - 10:00 pm. Friday entertainment features Louder Now and
Nerdvana. Saturday entertainment features Fletcher Rockwell and returning fan favorite LAVA
Rock.

Mayor Tom Poynton says, “The Craft Beer Fest is another outstanding Lake Zurich special event
– one of dozens we host each year. We started the Craft Beer Fest in 2015 and have received
huge support from the community. It’s a fun way to join your friends and neighbors to welcome
the warm-weather months to our area.”

The cost for a single day craft beer tasting pass is $39 in advance or $50 on-site. Designated
driver admission will be available for $10 (no glass provided). Tasting passes include admission
to the festival, live music, a commemorative souvenir tasting glass, and three-ounce beer samples
offered by acclaimed local and regional breweries.

Approximately 40 craft breweries will be represented with over 100+ beers to be sampled also
including home brews, wine and ciders available for tasting at the event. There will also be local
food vendors at the event to compliment the craft beer tasting. Food purchases are not included
in the ticket price.

Recreation Director Bonnie Caputo acknowledges “this event is made possible only by the
passion and hard work from our community volunteers, especially those on the Park Advisory
Board who dedicate countless hours each year to improving the quality of life in Lake Zurich.”

You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID to enter the craft beer fest. This includes
general admission. No pets are permitted on the park grounds.

The Village of Lake Zurich cautions all fest goers to drink responsibly and have designated
drivers available. The Holiday Inn Express is located directly across the street from Paulus Park
and has rooms available on both Friday and Saturday nights. Give them a call at 847-726-7500
and reserve your room if you might need to stay nearby.
