Criminal Trespass, Driving Without Valid License: Police Blotter

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS/OBSTRUCTING OFFICER     

Latrice M. Hosey, 30, 201 South Buesching Road #116, Lake Zurich, was arrested for criminal trespass to a residence after she unlawfully entered another apartment at 201 South Buesching Road, at 1:39 a.m., Feb. 28.  Hosey was charged with criminal trespass to a residence and obstructing a peace officer.  Hosey was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of March 20.

TRAFFIC ARREST/NO VALID LICENSE         

On Feb. 27, Maricela Villalba-Mendez, 25, 211 Sunrise Lane #4, Lake Zurich,  was arrested pursuant to the investigation of a traffic crash on Route 12 at Country Club Road.  Villalba-Mendez was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license.  Villalba-Mendez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of April 5.

On Feb. 26,  G. Ovalle, 20, 566 Isa Drive, Wheeling, was arrested pursuant to the investigation of a traffic crash on Route 12 north of Route 22.  Ovalle was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and driving without a valid driver’s license.  Ovalle was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and assigned a Mundelein court date of April 5.

 

On Feb. 25, Aracely NMI Cortes-Calderon, 38, who resides at 216 Pleasant Road in Lake Zurich, was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license on Route 22 at Oakwood Road in Lake Zurich.  Cortes-Calderon was charged with Failure to Yield and Driving with No Valid Driver’s License.  Cortes-Calderon was issued a Mundelein court date of April 5 and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond. 

 

On Feb. 26, Megan A. Xaverius, 20,who resides at 4109 Beech Street in Island Lake, was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license on Route 12 at Miller Road in Lake Zurich.Xaverius was charged with Improper Lighting, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and No Valid Driver’s License.  Xaverius was issued a Mundelein court date of April 5 and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
