District 95 Foundation Fun Run/Walk Helping Students, Teachers
The District 95 Educational Foundation's 5K and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is on Sunday, Sept.15.
School District 95 Educational Foundation has a list of initiatives that helps Lake Zurich School District 95 students and teachers. To reach its goals, the foundation is hosting the 5K and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, Sept. 15.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female winner as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd for male and females in each age category.
Registration is going on now through the foundation’s website. The cost is $30 for the 5K race and $15 for the 1 mile event. It will be held at Heritage Oaks Park in Hawthorne Woods. Registration will also be done onsite beginning at 7:30 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m.

District 95 Foundation is currently raising money for its “Smart Schools. Bright Futures.” Campaign. The foundation hopes to raise $250,000 to supplement the district’s technology budget. It has about 25 percent of its goal left, according to its website.
