District 95’s Residency Event a One-Stop Back to School Shop

The dog days of summer may be just beginning, but it’s also time to be thinking about back to school for Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 families.

District 95’s Residency Event is right around the corner, from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 and Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Lake Zurich High School, 300 Church St., Lake Zurich.

A makeup date is from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Parents or guardians must provide the district with documents such as a mortgage bill, a tax bill or a signed lease along with other documents as proof of residency.

District 95 will also provide parents and guardians with a district calendar/handbook, their student’s schedule, bus route and other information.

Staff from across the district, including the transportation department, business office, health services and food service_ will be on hand to answer any questions.

Parents and guardians can also turn in medical forms , pay fees and resolve any issues. Medical forms are due by Aug. 15.

High school students are required to attend the event to have their ID photos taken, sign off on handbooks and pick up locks.
