Ela Coalition’s Red Ribbon Poster Winners Announced
Panel picks poster designed by 8th graders Isabella Pombo and Jordan Miller.

Two St. Frances de Sales students created the winning Red Ribbon Week Poster, which is being used to promote the week around town.
Isabella Pombo and Jordan Miller, designed the winning poster. They were presented with their framed poster and certificate of recognition from the Ela Coalition Against Youth Substance Abuse earlier this week.
Junior high students across Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 competed in a poster contest to help advertise and kick off Red Ribbon Week, October 21 – 25, 2013.

Pombo’s and Miller’s design is reproduced to be posted throughout the St. Francis de Sales campus and District 95 community for Red Ribbon Week.
In addition to the junior high poster contest, each District 95 school held a coloring contest for the elementary grades. The PTO from each school is giving a small award for the winner of the coloring contest for each of the primary grades as well as for the Junior High poster contest grade level winners.
