Ela Township Holiday Dinner Dance to Benefit Local Charities
Ela Township's annual holiday dinner dance for resident 55 and older will be held Dec. 11 at St. Francis de Sales church in Lake Zurich.
Ela Township’s elected officials and Ela Township 55+ will host the annual Happy Holidays Dinner Dance from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, at Fr. Valker Hall, located downstairs at St. Francis de Sales church at 135 S. Buesching Rd., in Lake Zurich.
With over 300 guests expected to attend, this special event is open only to Ela Township residents who are 55 and older. Registration is required and will close on Dec. 4. Registration must be done in-person at the Ela Township Community Center located at 380 Surryse Rd., in Lake Zurich, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Admission is a minimum donation of $5 per person, which can be paid at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Emmaus House Community Dinner and St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, both of which serve local families and seniors.

The festivities will include refreshments served at 5 p.m., with dancing accompanied by Jason Gold’s Mini Big Band. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. following a holiday blessing. There will also be raffles and gift baskets.
