First Responders Family Fest Comes to NW Suburbs

The 2nd annual festival will include an obstacle course challenge, along with an array of exciting family-friendly events.

The 2nd annual First Responders Challenge Family Fest is coming to Palatine’s Deer Grove East Forest Preserve on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

The first year event was held in Downers Grove in the fall of 2014. Morton Grove Police Department came in 1st place, Oakbrook Terrace Fire Department placed 2nd and Addison Police Department took 3rd place.

“The excitement generated as spectators root on their favorite team really is palpable,” said Aaron Del Mar, owner of Adrenaline Sports Management, the event company presenting the event. “This year, we have added a number of other exciting challenges and attractions for the entire family.”
