Former Bear Tight End to Speak Friday at Lake Zurich Rotary

Desmond Clark, former NFL tight-end for the Chicago Bears, member of the team from 2003 to 2011, will be speaking to the Lake Zurich Rotary Club this Friday at 12:15 p.m. His talk is based on his playing days as well as those that came before and after. “Stand On Your Principles,” is an inspirational message that those who excel in spite of those trials and tribulations have a purpose and a plan, backed by passion that is executed through principle.

Clark is a financial adviser for Wayne Messmer and Associates and founded a tutoring and mentoring program for boys. He had his own sports radio show and gives insprirational talks throughout the country.

The Lake Zurich Rotary Club meets at 12:15 on Friday at the Holiday Inn Express, 197 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich.
