Four Candidates Submit Petitions for Library’s Board Openings

 Four candidates filed for four Ela Area Public Library Board openings. Library Board trustee Vicki Burger, Hanan Hafez, Mary Ann Hall and James Stamoolis filed petitions for the April 9, 2013 election. Three are Lake Zurich residents, and Stamoolis is a resident of Kildeer. The filing period ended December 26.

     Each elected candidate will serve a four-year term. Burger was appointed to the Board in 2004, elected to the Board in 2005 and has served for two consecutive terms. Each candidate is uncontested.
