Looking for a few things to do this weekend in and around Lake Zurich?

The Lake Zurich Bears and Lake Zurich Flames are teaming up for a car wash to support the Amos Family as mom, DeeAnn Amos, fights ALS. Bring your cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles to Culvers, 645 N. Rand Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 $10 per vehicle.

Couture Cupcake Cafe's Mickey & Minnie Mouse characters will be at the Cafe from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, hosting a Disney Breakfast.

Up and Coming Theater Company is performing a modern production of “Jesus Christ Superstar,” drawing parallels between the story of Christ and today’s culture of celebrity worship. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 3; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Lake Zurich Performing Arts Center, 300 Church St. in Lake Zurich. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

Long Grove is holding its Summer Concert Series featuring Corky Siegel & The Chamber Blues from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 at the Sunset Foods Pavilion in downtown Long Grove. The Siegel-Schwall Band was instrumental in The Great Blues Revival of the 1960's. Siegel-Schwall were Chicago-based, serving as the house band at the famed Pepper's Lounge. The concert is free.
